North Carolina the location of beautiful homes of all types from lovely colonials to modern mansions. Magnificent green lawns, beautiful flowers and flowing farmlands provide gracious and comfortable living throughout the state. The Raleigh, Research Triangle area includes some of the nations most attractive towns such as Cary, Apex, Knightdale, Wake forest and Durham. Raleigh offers the best in living, blending friendly neighborhood living with the graciousness of southern hospitality to the latest technological splendors of today.

Coming to Raleigh after living in many other places throughout the country has given me and my family pleasure, enjoyment and the comfort and challenges equal to any metropolitan city in the world. Raleigh with its many universities and colleges provides a host of plays, symphonies and opera, restaurants, evening entertainment of all types and sports to enjoy. Living in Raleigh provides one great opportunities to meet new people and participate in many of the local activities available.

One of my pleasures has been a long time volunteer with a local radio station where I introduced country blues and hosted the blues show for over ten years. As a radio hobbyist, I have enjoyed the many friends in amateur radio and participated in many of the activities that comes with being a member in such a worldly group. Raleigh has provided me the opportunity to do all those things I like the most and I highly recommend this area to all I meet.

Having a working background in medical research electronics and business has given me the opportunity to interface with many people in varied areas. This experience was what influenced me to return to real estate and start Barner Realty because I truly enjoy working with people. As a result of my experiences and background I tend to view real estate not as a job but also as a hobby and an area where I can help others. My greatest pleasure is when the clients I am working with come out of a closing with the keys to their new home in their hands.

The future of real estate is always robust and today's market requires not only a desire to be successful but also a strong desire to please. My goal is to keep up with where regional growth is headed and stay on top of long-range development plans, to investigate new and proposed road designs and determine how they will impact the homes my clients buy or sell. If you are in the market for a move into this area or a move up to a new or older home I would like to make my expertise available to you. I'm always available at gbarner@netdal.com http://www.gbarner.com
